Honestly, this book has made it in my top 5. It kept me reading it all day, I couldn't stand to put it down. After every chapter I was always wondering what came next, Laura was so creative with everything. I couldn't imagine anything different. I can't wait until the second book comes out. Jake is so dark and mysterious, but very seductive and manipulating. ~Angie

A great first novel!, May 31, 2009 By  M. B. Kawer "The water ox" There's a new queen of fantasy writing in town and her name is Laura Eno. She grabs you and pulls you into an alternate reality where you are sure to laugh, cry, wonder, and most importantly, learn about your innermost self. Once I began reading, I was unable to stop until reaching the end. The conclusion left me begging for more, so I'm sure this is not the end for Eno. The mere thought of Jake now gives me the creeps. Brilliant!
